Important notes for checkout

1.  Please have your student at the school on the correct day and time.  This is necessary to allow for appropriate distancing and safety precautions during checkout procedures.

2.  Parents will remain in their vehicle in the school parking lot and direct their student to the back gym entrance near the strength complex.  This is the entrance used on regular school days for car drop off as well as the entrance used for school dances.  Students will receive instructions on how to proceed with checkout as they enter. Parents should remain in their vehicle until the student returns to them after they check out at which they are free to leave.

3.  Students MUST have a mask to enter the building and MUST wear it at all times throughout the checkout procedure.  Any student who reports without a mask will not be allowed in the building and will be instructed on a specific makeup time when they can return with a mask to complete checkout.

4.  Students will be instructed on how to checkout in a safe and timely manner.  At no time should students congregate and visit during the checkout procedure.  Always maintain at least 6 feet and proceed directly out of the building and parking lot when checkout is complete. There should be no visiting in the school parking lot before, during, or after these procedures.

Since we have lost some time during the year, Mrs. West is asking for some help. She is asking for parents and students to email photos of what students are doing at home. Please make sure photos are school appropriate and of good quality - no blurry photos. Students have also been invited to join the yearbook google classroom to participate in polls and discussions that will be featured in the 2020 yearbook. If your student did not get into the yearbook google classroom before, the code is: sqiz624 There will also be some info about Who's Who on the site.

Please share will your students that we need their photos for the yearbook. Please send all photos to jaclynwest@opsb.net

In the subject of your email please put your student’s first name.

Thank you so much for your help and for your support of our school and yearbook. Stay safe out there!
